Korean Delegates Tour Our Sydney Macrofarm

Greenspace · August 2026

Greenspace's Sydney Macrofarm played host to a very special group of visitors recently. A delegation of 13 delegates and an interpreter, travelling from Korea, who came through for a guided tour of our farm on Friday, 14 August.

The hour-long visit gave the delegation an up-close look at how Greenspace grows nutrient-dense produce indoors, year-round, without pesticides or the food miles that come with traditional farming. For a group exploring how cities elsewhere in the world are rethinking food production, our Macrofarm offered a compact but powerful example of what's possible.

A shared interest in the future of urban food

Delegations like this are becoming a regular feature at our Macrofarm sites, and it's easy to see why. As cities everywhere grapple with the same questions, how to feed growing populations sustainably, how to shorten supply chains, how to bring fresh food production closer to where people actually live and work, hyper-local urban farming keeps coming up as part of the answer.

Hosting international visitors is also a reminder of just how transferable the Greenspace model is. The same hub-and-spoke approach that's been proven across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth will be used as we expand internationally.

We enjoyed hosting the group and sharing our story with them, and we're always glad to welcome visitors, local or international, keen to see hyper-local farming in action.
