Hospitality
Greenspace · August 2026
The Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) recently unveiled its new seasonal menu at a special evening event, and Greenspace was proud to be part of it. The menu launch showcased how BCEC's culinary team is bringing fresher, more sustainable ingredients into their offering, with a little help from a Greenspace Microfarm.
Greenspace supplied living produce for the evening, giving guests a chance to see hyper-local, pesticide-free herbs and greens featured across the new menu rather than simply hearing about "sustainability" as a buzzword. It's the same principle behind every Greenspace partnership: produce that's grown close by, delivered living, and harvested only when it's needed.
BCEC joins a growing list of major venues and hospitality groups across Australia bringing Greenspace's Macrofarm-to-Microfarm model into their kitchens, proof that hyper-local farming has a genuine place in large-scale events and venues, not just boutique restaurants.
We're looking forward to working with BCEC's culinary team again in the future, as they build on this new menu and host more fantastic events.
